Why the Drive Works for an Orthodontist for New Jersey Families
Many of our New Jersey patients drive in. Our office is at 62nd Street, and the congestion pricing zone covers Manhattan at and below 60th Street, so our corner sits just outside it.
From Bergen County, a common route avoids the zone entirely. Cross the George Washington Bridge, take the Harlem River Drive south onto the FDR Drive, and exit on the East Side in the 60s. The FDR Drive is excluded from the toll. See the MTA’s Congestion Relief Zone details.
Off-peak, the drive from towns near the bridge can take well under an hour. Weekday rush hours at the GWB can add significant time, so plan around peak traffic when you can.

Tunnels
The Lincoln and Holland Tunnels enter Manhattan inside the congestion pricing zone, so the toll applies on that route.
PATH
Ride to 33rd Street, then take the Q from 34 St–Herald Sq straight to Lexington Av/63 St, about a block and a half from our office.
NJ Transit
From Penn Station, take the N, R, W or Q from Herald Square north to our stations.
