From Metro-North to an Orthodontist Near Grand Central
If a parent already commutes into Manhattan, an appointment can fit into the workday. For a second opinion or a complex case, the trip is simpler than it sounds.
The Harlem, New Haven and Hudson Lines all end at Grand Central. From the terminal, walk about 20 blocks north on Park Avenue, or take the 4, 5 or 6 to Lexington Av/59 St. Our office is about three blocks from the station.
Express trains from many lower Westchester stations reach Grand Central in roughly 30 to 40 minutes. Check your line on the MTA Metro-North schedules.

Harlem Line
Bronxville, Tuckahoe, Scarsdale, Hartsdale, White Plains and Chappaqua.
New Haven Line
Pelham, New Rochelle, Larchmont, Mamaroneck, Harrison and Rye.
Hudson Line
Hastings-on-Hudson, Dobbs Ferry, Irvington and Tarrytown.
Harlem–125th Street
Harlem Line riders can also get off at 125th Street and take the 4, 5 or 6 down Lexington Avenue.
Train
Metro-North to Grand Central, then about one mile north on Park Avenue.
Subway
The 4, 5 or 6 from Grand Central–42 St to Lexington Av/59 St, about three blocks from our office.
Drive
Most drivers take the RFK (Triborough) Bridge and the FDR Drive south to an East Side exit in the 60s. That route stays north of the congestion pricing zone, which starts at 60th Street. See the MTA’s Congestion Relief Zone details.
