  1. travel brush

Invisalign® and aligners can trap bacteria and plaque, which is why it’s so important to make sure your teeth are always clean. Carry a travel toothbrush and floss so that you can clean your teeth after every meal. This will allow you to wear your aligners longer throughout the day and also ensure that your teeth are not at risk for decay. If you don’t have a travel toothbrush, we will provide one. Just ask one of our clinicians, at your next appointment.

II. aligner case

Invisalign® and aligners should always be taken out and stored safely when drinking all beverages (except for water) and while eating. Do not store your aligners in a napkin or they could accidentally be discarded and/or damaged.

At Lemchen Salzer Orthodontics, we offer a wide variety of aligner cases in various styles and colors to help you store your appliances safely.

III. be honest

If you are struggling to wear your aligners for 20 hours each day, please notify a clinician or a doctor on our staff so that we can accommodate your needs administer new trays at an appropriate pace.

Keep in mind, if you are not compliant with wearing your aligners, your treatment time can take much longer and can often lead to frustration. By being honest with the doctors, we can create a specific treatment plan that works for you and your specific lifestyle.
