BEFORE & AFTER: HOW TORQUING CHANGED THIS PATIENT'S FACIAL ALIGNMENT
Patient Evaluation
When Dr. Salzer first met with Mandy, she noticed right away that there was not enough presence to her smile. “It left her with a narrow smile and it felt kind of empty. There wasn’t enough volume to her smile and I knew there could be,” Salzer said.
Her arch was compressed into a v-shape and narrow. And while there were less teeth, there was still significant crowding.
Treatment
Dr. Salzer created a treatment plan for Mandy that eventually created a fuller and wider smile. She also torqued the front teeth forward, which created more lip support.
Results
Mandy began to see significant changes in her smile by 6 months – her lips were fuller, her smile was wider, and her cheekbones were more defined.
